1971: From importing to manufacturing

During its early years the company imported machinery and equipment from international suppliers. In 1975 it began manufacturing its own packaging machines, and it has been producing under the "TAM TAŞ" brand ever since.

Three facilities, from Mecidiyeköy to İkitelli

Production in Mecidiyeköy, Istanbul, from 1975 to 1983 moved in 1983 to an 8,000 m² facility in Merter. After continuing at the Merter factory until 2013, production has taken place since 2014 at the modern facility built in İkitelli, Istanbul.

Machines for every stage of the packaging line

Today the TAMTAŞ product portfolio covers different stages of the packaging line:

Fully automatic vertical packaging machines (VFFS)
Doypack packaging machines (HFFS)
Box and jar filling machines
Case packing, bundling and shrink wrapping machines
Palletising machines
