From machine building
to integrated line responsibility
Tamtaş Makina began operating in the packaging machinery and packaging materials industry in 1971.
During its early years, the company imported machinery and equipment from international suppliers. In 1975, Tamtaş Makina began manufacturing packaging machinery. From 1975 to 1983, the company operated in Mecidiyeköy, Istanbul, before relocating to an 8,000 m² production facility in Merter in 1983.
After continuing its manufacturing operations at the Merter factory between 1983 and 2013, the company moved to its modern production facility in İkitelli, Istanbul, in 2014.
Tamtaş Makina has been manufacturing under the “TAM TAŞ” brand since 1975. With decades of experience serving Türkiye's industrial and packaging sectors, the company has earned a trusted and respected position both in the domestic market and across international markets through its high-quality machinery, pre-sales consulting services and reliable after-sales technical support.
